Doula certification requirements
Birth & Post-natal Doula: 

1. Resource list
2. Interview moms
3. Read required books
4. Work with mother and baby for 10 hours minimum - 20 hours preferred.
5. Attend a breastfeeding class.
6. Attend 3 births (if wanting to do Medicaid in your state if that state approves any 30 hour or more program.) Or attend one birth if not wanting to do Medicaid. 
7. Demonstrate at least 5-10 birth doula skills if doing birth section.
8A. Read through the childbirth component of the birth doula class. 
8B. Essay on why you are becoming a doula and your target audience.
9. Final exam.

Postpartum Traditions Course Certification Requirements

Each section will have a project - so finish each project from each section. 
#1: Asian Traditions Project
#2: Sacred Window Ayurveda Project
#3: Nutritional Project 
#4: Herbal Project 
Pass quizzes from each section with 70% or more. 90% will receive "with honors" on certificate. 
Book reviews on the 3 books listed you need for the class:
The First Forty Days
Touching Heaven Postpartum Care
Natural Health After Birth

​Also you need the Touching Heaven Postpartum Care Recipes 

That's it - you will be certified after finishing the projects, quizzes and book reviews!
